Enjoy your stay at Lake Constance to the fullest - because the holiday lodge is the perfect starting point for numerous activities. Various beaches on Lake Constance are just a few minutes' walk away. Our STRANDHAUS restaurant is also located right in the neighbourhood. Furthermore, you will find a supermarket, petrol stations, other restaurants and much more in the immediate vicinity.

The Lake Constance cycle path takes you to Lindau Island and Bregenz in 10-15 minutes - travelling along the beautiful shores of Lake Constance. The "Leiblachstraße" bus stop is right on the doorstep: from here you can reach Lindau Island, the Lindau thermal baths, the Lindaupark shopping centre and both Lindau railway stations in 30-minute intervals without having to change buses.

Would you like to use your car for excursions? The Lindau motorway exit is only a few minutes away - perfect for skiing in winter.

Shopping

You can reach a newly built LIDL supermarket on foot in just a few minutes. The Austrian supermarket SPAR is also only about 500 metres away. Tip: The supermarkets Edeka Koros in Weißensberg and the Vorarlberg supermarket Sutterlüty offer a large selection of regional specialities.

Lindau's shopping centre Lindaupark can be easily reached by city bus, bicycle or car.

Swimming

Would you like to immerse yourself in Lake Constance and enjoy the crystal-clear water? From the holiday lodge, you can reach various beaches and bathing spots in just a few minutes' walk, for example the "Naturbad Eichwald" - a 500 metre long natural beach. By bike or e-scooter, you can reach the Lochau public beach and the Lindau thermal baths (with beach access) in just a few minutes.

Public transport

The Lindau city bus takes you directly from the holiday lodge to the most popular spots in Lindau - for example to the historic Lindau Island - without having to change buses. Line 5 runs every 30 minutes from the bus stops "Kunert" and "Grenzsiedlung/Zech", which are just a stone's throw from the Ferien-Lodge. You can find the route network and timetable here.

Travelling to Lindau by train? Then you can use either of Lindau's main railway stations - but we would recommend the new "Lindau Reutin" station. Both stations are directly connected to the city bus line 5.

Cycling
The holiday lodge is only a short distance from the Lake Constance cycle path, which takes you directly to Lindau Island and the Austrian city of Bregenz. If you bring your own bikes, you are welcome to leave them in our secure storage area. You can find more information about cycling in Lindau here.

By car
Are you travelling by car or would you like to use your vehicle for excursions? No problem! The holiday lodge is just a few minutes' drive from the "Lindau" motorway exit. You can conveniently park directly at the flat in our covered carport. There are several petrol stations just over the Austrian border (300 metres away).

Are you travelling by electric car? There is a 22 kW wallbox (with billing) directly at the holiday lodge.
